Description

Too busy for laundry? The Soapy Llama Laundry Service is the perfect solution for Sims who live in small apartments or simply want to skip the drying time. This mod allows you to send dirty laundry to a professional laundromat for a small fee. Once cleaned, the clothes are returned directly to your Sim’s inventory.

Originally created by ShuSanR, I adopted this mod in 2022 and completely rewrote the code. It now features a full rebrand to “Soapy Llama” and has been modernized for better performance.

Available Services

Choose between three professional cleaning levels depending on your Sim’s needs:

  • 🧺 Standard Wash: Takes around 2 hours. Clothes return clean and dry.
  • ⚡ Express Wash: Takes around 1 hour. Clothes return clean and warm.
  • 🌿 Delicate Wash: Takes around 3 hours. Clothes return pristine, warm, and fragrant.

Interactions are available on laundry hampers, scattered piles, and folded stacks (in the world or inventory).

  • Other strings were translated using ChatGPT.

Installation Guide

Package Installation
  • Extract: Place .package files into the /Mods folder.
  • Update: Delete the previous version before installing any update.
  • Cache: Clear localthumbcache.package for a clean game environment.
