Description
This mod replaces the low-detail default body hair textures from EA with high-quality versions by Luumia. The textures were modified to work as a direct override in accordance with the original Terms of Service.
Slot Limitations
This is a Replacement Mod, which means it is strictly limited to the slots EA provided in the base game. It is not a standalone CC pack.
- Arms, Legs, and Back: 3 growth stages each.
- Chest and Stomach: 6 fixed combinations. Only the necessary textures were used to fill these specific slots. There are no plans to add more. If these technical limits or the selection of textures don’t suit your taste, don’t use the mod.
Consistency
To keep randomly generated Townies from looking broken or inconsistent, specific choices were made:
- Straight Hair Only: Mixing curly and straight textures through the game’s randomizer looks bad on NPCs. To maintain a clean look, only straight textures are used.
- Back Hair: Since there are no separate high-quality textures for a third layer, the second and third stages share the same texture for a cleaner result.
- Colors: Logical mapping is used for the 24 EA colors. Sims with unnatural hair (green, blue, etc.) get blonde body hair to keep things looking realistic.
Mod Variants
There are two versions available. Please install only one!
- Version A: Men Only — Body hair for males only. Females stay hairless.
- Version B: Also Women — Adds light hair for female arms and legs. Heavy growth and chest/back hair remain disabled for women.
